A Bug Catcher is a Pokemon Trainer that collects Bug Pokemon, as the name obviously implies. In the Shames they are usually easy to beat, sometimes even easier than the already weak enough Youngsters. Why? Here are two reasons:
- Bug Pokemon have a low chance of surviving in battle because of... Well, I don't feel like going that deep into the average Bug Pokemon's stats and stuff.
- Bug Pokemon like Metapod and Kakuna, which, for some reason, when owned by Bug Catchers, don't know their previous evolutions' moves for some reason. Apparently, when they're found in the wild the previous sentence also applies to wild Metapod and Kakuna. What a strange thing...
Well, I'm sure you understand, especially with how redunndant the second reason was.
